Bangkok is one of the most exotic and exciting destinations in the world. The way of living is totally different from the western world and every day you learn and experience new and exciting food and things to do. In Bangkok you can find lots and lots of Street Food everywhere. You can find everything from fresh pineapples, to crispy cockroaches and nice rice with pork and fried eggs. There is literally Street Food on every street and in every market in Thailand, and the food is very cheap and very often cooked in front of you so that you have a clear vision if it is fresh or not. To avoid stomach problems stay with the food charts that has the biggest queues!

Here are some examples of what you can find in the streets of Bangkok:

New York

There are many different opinions on what Street Food really is and no one can say what is right or wrong. Street Food can be whatever people perceive it to be.

In my mind, Street Food is all kind of food sold in the streets in the different countries worldwide. Many would say that it is a form of take-away food that is quick and easy to make with tasty ingredients and simple recipes. It could be hot and cold or sweet and salty, the sky has no limits.

If we take New York for example, you have all these amazing food wagons in every street corner selling everything from Ice Cream to Hot Dogs and it smells so good. It is quite difficult to differ what is good and what is not at the different Street Food places. Our tip would be to always look at the queue, if it is big, then you know where to go!
